ForteRev is a MAX external written in C. I completed it in March of 2002, with some algorithmic assistance from Ben Broening.

The above example shows how ForteRev works, in this case in conjunction with SetCalc. The first outlet of SetCalc sends a Symbol of the Forte Number which corresponds to the prime form of the incoming set. ForteRev can take that Forte Number, and convert it into a Prime Form, essentially doing a "reverse" on the Symbol.

The development codename for this project was Etrof. This external is compatible with the new version of Max/MSP for Mac OS X.
